Angle finder is fine but unlike true waist level finders, I still have to bring my eye pretty close to the eyepiece to see the full image. The Nikon F inherited from grandfather came with a waist-level finder. Canon G2 has a flip-out LCD that worked like a charm until the LCD on mine broke.
